HotelsCheap.org is awarding a need-based scholarship of $1,500 to college students. We at Hotelscheap understand that financing your education can be difficult; as a result we would like to lend a hand. To apply for the scholarship, he or she must answer four personal, open-ended, and thought-provoking questions. The students whose responses are the most persuasive, compelling, and well-written, as judged by our Headquarters management team will be considered finalists. Must be at least 16 years old to apply. The United States Senate Youth Program, established in 1962 by U.S. Senate Resolution, is a unique educational experience for outstanding high school students interested in pursuing careers in public service. The annual program will be held in Washington, D.C., from March 8 – 15, 2014. Two student leaders from each state, the District of Columbia and the Department of Defense Education Activity will spend a week in Washington experiencing their national government in action. The program is open to juniors and seniors. Each school is to select 1 nominee. If interested, submit the attached application to Mr. Lorence by October 4th. The Copper River School District will award a $500.00 scholarship to a graduating Copper River School District senior who will enter any course which leads to a certificate or degree during 2013. Further information can be found in the two documents below. Due May 13, 2013!
This scholarship is in Memory of Adrina Louise Knutson (February 16, 1991-August 6, 2012) to promote positive, passionate living. It is currently available to Copper River School District graduates from 2009 through 2013. It will also be available in the future to seniors who graduate from the Copper River School District in 2014 and 2015. Please find all the information you will need to apply in the documents below.
